Dear Mrs. Brewster,

I was very delighted to get your letter telling me about Learning my husband on a radio broadcast from Toyko. Aliho. Many letters came I want you to know that each of them was greatly appreciated. This is the first consoling news I have had since the fall of Corregidor & I have rec’d only one card from Karl.
