Dear Mrs. Brewster

Your kindness in notifying Mr. Butler of the radio message concerning Marcelle is very much appreciated. Mr. Butler passed away two years ago. He was Marcelle’s father-in law. I am sending your letter to Mr. Butler’s daughter in St. Louis.

I have written to Marcelle, a dear friend, & have offered her what assistance I might give. Marcelle before her husband’s death, had spent a happy year in Manila, & was persuaded by friends to return there. I have also written to her friend Wayne as the address some one else gave The War Dept & 17 other persons advised of the contents of the message. It seems so wonderful! Thanking you again.
