Dear Mrs. Brewster

Thanks so much for your greeting card and note.

It is very gratifying to know that you as well as many others were rooting for us whle we were prisoners of the Japs. I have sent letters of thanks to all the kind listeners who had sent messages to my people telling them that I was still alive.

Yes, we did go there a lot and I’m mighty thankful that I was able to come back alive and all in one piece.

I’m sincerely sorry to hear of your troubling misfortunes, but hope that things will improve.

Let me wish you and yours all the best of everything for the coming year.

Sincerely Yours,

Joseph Cohen
